OOPS! 2 Open Call
We are super excited to announce the collaboration with this year's iteration of OOPS! that will be transitioned into a biennial structure.
This show is an open call to artists in the Las Vegas community. This show will also accept the work of students outside of the art department and consider other mediums outside of conventional visual 2D/3D approaches to the material. This show highlights the work of emerging artists, who are sinking their teeth into the process and building a studio practice as an all-engulfing experience, not just a culmination of successes.
2D work will have a maximum size of 30 x 30 inches. Accepted works must be complete and delivered with appropriate hanging hardware (D-rings with wire are a good standard).
Sculptural work will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the amount of sculptural applications and installation requirements.
The goal is that the work challenges the artist's practice. This piece should function as a segue between past and future works. All works will be reviewed by Nancy Good and Bailey Anderson for consideration.
When pricing your work, please consider that Core Contemporary takes a 50% commission.
